Pastor/Clergy/Appreciation Month

Month of October is Recognized As: “Pastor/Clergy Appreciation Month”

October is Pastor/Clergy Appreciation Month and the perfect time to commit to Praying for and Encouraging our Pastor & our Associate Ministers on a regular basis. God’s Word calls us to support Clergy.  1st Thessalonians 5:12-13, tells us:  “And we beseech you brethren, to know them which labour among you and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you.  And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake.  And be at peace among yourselves.”  Individuals can help by being more generous with Praise than Criticism, and giving the Pastor/Clergy the same respect they give to other professionals.

Shepherding a body of believers is too important and too big a job to leave to the Pastor alone. Everyonewhoispartofa localchurchhasa vital role to play in nurturing the shepherd who was calledtoleadandfeedthem.

Again, we say “Thanks” to our Associate Ministers for your Love and Support of your/our Pastor; for the Vital Part you play each Sunday in our Morning Worship Services; and for your continuedPrayersandSupport.
